Business Management has an a nifty info-graphic illustrating the pay gap between company CEO’s and the company’s average worker.

The takeaways: At Ford Motor Company, the average worker would have to work for a whopping 868 years to earn the same amount that the CEO earns in a single year. At Exxon, it’s 791 years. Hewlett-Packard, 836 years. AT&T, 387 years.

Contrast this to the Ben & Jerry’s model in which the highest-paid executive can’t earn more than 5x the lowest-paid worker. A little extreme? Perhaps. But I have to think that the Ford/Exxon/AT&T model is just a teeny bit inequitable.
