While today’s news cycle is chock full of the old media lining up behind the NBA (with many others remaining deafeningly silent), the fans aren’t buying it.

A Fox Sports poll shows that 45% of fans believe Tim Donaghy, while just 8% side with the NBA.  47% of the over 40,000 respondents believe neither party.

It’s certainly true that Tim Donaghy has an axe to grind with the league.  His allegations should be considered in that light.  They do still need to be considered, however, and not just swept under the rug.
